A Tamil Nadu girl pulls out three gold medals at the Deaf Olympics.

At the 24th Summer Deaflympics in Caxias do Sul, Brazil, Jerlin Anika won gold in the women’s singles badminton event. He also won gold medals in the mixed doubles and team badminton events.

Jerlin Anika is an Austrian. Nudolt took gold in the singles event. Jarlin Anika and Abhinav Sharma won the mixed doubles tournament by defeating Malaysia’s Boon and Teo. She was a member of India’s badminton team, which won the gold medal by defeating Japan 3-1.

The badminton player has won several medals for his country at both the national and international levels. She is taking part in her second Deaflympics. previously competed in the 2017 Deaflympics in Samsun, Turkey. She was the event’s youngest competitor.

Jerlin Anika began playing badminton when she was eight years old. T. Saravanan, his coach, recalled Jerlin Anika’s father on his first day on the floor. Jeya Ratchagan had brought her to a badminton coaching camp in Madurai since she was interested in the sport.

Jerlin Anika hasn’t looked back since. Every match, his performance improved. Despite being the youngest player at the 2017 Deaflympics, she stated she made it to the quarter-finals and was awarded a certificate. Saravanan said that he worked harder and won two gold medals in the 24th Summer Deaflympics.
