Samantha expresses her affection for Kashmir.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is embarking on a new career path as she works on Kushi, her much-talked-about love drama starring Vijay Deverakonda. A significant amount of the film was shot in Kashmir, and the Yashoda actress has fallen in love with the region. She just shared some lovely photos from the location that would make your heart skip a beat. “Kashmir…I shall always have this piece of my heart that grins whenever I think of you,” the caption reads.


The makers have also released a trailer for the title tune from Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha’s upcoming film. The connection between the Liger star and Samantha will keep you captivated to the screen. Fans are now ecstatic about the release of the whole tune.

Khushi is set to be released in theatres globally on December 23rd of this year. The movie is expected to be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. These two actors earlier appeared together in the National Award-winning film Mahanati, in which Keerthy Suresh played the eponymous character. Kushi also stars Jayaram, Sachin Khedakar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar, and Saranya.

Hesham Abdul Wahab of Hridayam fame created the music for the project directed by Shiva Nirvana. Samantha was previously directed by the filmmaker in the 2019 film Majili.


Samantha is also working on Gunasekhar’s mythological film Shaakuntalam and the modern age thriller Yashoda. Meanwhile, she is broadening her horizons with the Bollywood drama Citadel, in which she co-stars with Varun Dhawan and the Hollywood feature Arrangements of Love.

On a side note, Vijay Deverakonda has two Pan-India films set to be released this year: Liger and Jana Gana Mana.
