16 Ministers Make Up Gujarat Governor Bhupendra Patel’s New Cabinet: Full List
In the just completed Gujarat Assembly elections, the BJP won a record-breaking 156 seats. After the state’s creation in 1960, it was the most seats any party has ever won.
On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and numerous Chief Ministers attended a large ceremony in Gandhinagar where BJP leader Bhupendra Patel took the oath of office as the Chief Minister of Gujarat for a second consecutive term.
Along with Mr. Patel, sixteen ministers—eight of cabinet rank—were also sworn in.
The state cabinet included Kanu Desai, Rishikesh Patel, Raghvji Patel, Balvantsinh Rajput, Kunvarji Bavaliya, Mulu Bera, Kuber Dindor, and Bhanuben Babariya.
Harsh Sanghvi and Jagdish Vishwakarma, two leaders, took the oath to serve as independent ministers of state.
Parshottam Solanki, Bachu Khabad, Mukesh Patel, Praful Pansheriya, Kuverji Halpati, and Bhikhusinh Parmar were the other six individuals who took the oath to serve as ministers of state.

Out of the 182 seats, the Congress won 17, while the AAP won 5.
A day after the election results, on Friday, Bhupendra Patel and his whole government resigned. He was chosen the next day to lead the BJP legislative party. He met the governor shortly after and staked his claim to forming the future government.
