Come, join for the week-long celebration of handmade pasta’s as a part of the World Pasta Day festivity! Discover a menu of pleasant pastas in true Italian tradition at Prego, the authentic Italian restaurant at Taj Coromandel. The focus of the menu is on the range of Classic Pastas curated over the years by Prego Master Chefs, both Veg & Non- Vegetarian.
Tease your palate with Tagliollini neri frutti di mare, a handmade made charcoal pasta cooked to perfection with cherry tomatoes, prawn, scallop and calamari. The activated charcoal acts as the best detoxifier and is used to create the black pasta, giving the pasta a different look and feel, and also tasting different.
The Cencioni alla pepperonata comes with a medley of hand rolled cencioni pasta with sweet pepper sauce which makes this pasta stand out on its own. The hand rolled oval petal shaped pasta is made of semolina and refined wheat flour as is a specialty of the Puglia region of Italy
Gnocchi di patate viola con asparagi originates from Piedmont region from Italy, that is a Hand rolled purple gnocchi served with the asparagus sauce. The purple potato gives a distinct texture and color to the gnocchi making it the most desirable delight.
