MiniRoo presents Kids Popup – Whimsical Wonderland’s Summer Edition – on 23rd June 2018 at Park Hyatt, Velachery. Conceptualized by Chennai Mompreneurs Aditi Prasad and Vishwa Dave, MiniRoo focuses on being instrumental in presenting experience based products and events to the Chennai market. MiniRoo is constantly empowering mothers and fathers with knowledge and connecting them to products that make their life easier, on their parenting journey. MiniRoo’s events also spreads pure joy giving kids a day filled with goodies, surprises and non-stop fun at the event.
The one-day pop brings together over 35 brands under one roof in segments like organic food, fashion, education, skin care, newborn essentials, and entertainment! The pop-up will feature brands such as Indie Project Store, Little Tags, The Mumum Co, BrainSmith Toys, Anmol Baby Carriers, Skillmatics, Pretty Random Shoes, MooBaa Clothing and many more. What’s even better? Most of these international quality brands are run by mom-preneurs from India!
MiniRoo is on a mission to educate, empower and entertain parents and kids by way of these path-breaking of events. Within just 6 months of inception, MiniRoo has successfully hosted 2 events, with Whimsical Wonderland – Second Edition being its third. First, MiniRoo launched Whimsical Wonderland pop-up in December ‘17 which was a first-of-its-kind event of its nature in Chennai with 30 leading kids brands showcasing for the first time. Second, they launched The Mamahood Project – India’s first speaker series designed to be like TEDx but for Parents and Parents-to-be, where experts and doctors spoke to parents on topics that really matter from Pregnancy and Breastfeeding to Postpartum depression, fitness and toddler nutrition & more.
About the Founders:
Aditi Prasad, COO and CIO of Robotix Learning Solutions and Indian Girls Code, is on a mission to inspire and educate young girls and boys to learn to code and develop real-world solutions for real-world challenges. Keynote Speaker at UNESCO’s Policy Forum Cracking the Code: Girls’ Education in STEM, in Bangkok in August 2017 to speak on Indian Girls Code, a free, hands-on coding and robotics education programme for underprivileged girls. In March 2018, Aditi was also a TEDx Speaker. She was also selected as 1 of 20 Young Societal Leaders, from Asia, who are doing incredible work in making societies better, by the Singapore Summit.
Vishwa Dave, founder of Villa 17 and Embellvish, is constantly changing the way Chennai perceives retail and fashion. With over 10 years experience in luxury retail, her furniture store Villa 17 is a first of its kind in Chennai. With her consulting platform, Embellvish, she brings new events and experiences to Chennai’s crème-de-la-crème. She has also hosted exclusive events like A private styling session with Vogue Editor Anaita Shroff Adajania in Chennai, and the launch of the GAP store in the city.
