FICCI FLO Chennai celebrated the Annual Session & Change of Guard ceremony on 11 th April 2018 at Crowne Plaza, Alwarpet, Chennai.
The present Chairperson, Ms.Meena Mohan handed over office to Ms.Anupama Shivaraman, who will head FICCI FLO Chennai for the year 2018-19.
Ms.Anupama Shivaraman is a Chartered Accountant, with a brilliant academic career, being a national rank holder in the CA course. She is Director of the Shriram Leadership Academy. She heads the E- Learning initiatives for over 10,000 employees of the Shriram Group’s financial services business.
She has over 20 years of experience with the Shriram Group of Companies in various businesses, including Financial services, Insurance and Engineering. She is also keenly involved in civic causes as the Vice President of the North Gopalapuram Residents Welfare Association. She holds an Advanced Diploma in French, and speaks five languages. She is also a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and music lover, she loves to travel and is also a fitness enthusiast.
She is an excellent writer and writes for the Investment Newsletter of the Shriram Group, the Industrial Economist and other publications. She is also a speaker at various forums on women’s empowerment.
FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO) is the women wing of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). An all India forum for women, FLO has its headquarters in New Delhi, with 14 chapters covering different geographical regions of India. FLO represents over 5000 women entrepreneurs and professionals.
