Evoluzione presents ‘The Wildflower’, Outhouse Jewellery’s newest collection. A celebration of fluorescent emotions, this collection brings the free Boheme spirit to jewellery in a myriad of wild colours.Tassels interwoven in bewitching tones thread together a story walked through the life of a flower-child, one who finds beauty even in the frayed corners of the world. Somewhere within us, we all hold the spirit of a flower-child seeking a euphoric fantasy to live through.

Celebrating this girl reflected in the blithe and vivacious spirit of traditions back home, the collection carries the old world charm with a cultural diaspora, drawing the aura and the wild emotions of that true bohemian spirit, a wanderer free to love and live life in infinity.

The narrative conjures the jewelled silhouettes with a certain architectural beauty drawn from indigenous Peruvian culture and the famous Andean crafts that comes through in an assortment of textures and design, drawing attention to the vibrant macrame handwoven into Aztec patterns with a bit of magic. We bring together a mix of heritage built on the pillars of art made by hand as done since the ancient times.

Each intricately handcrafted jewellery invokes the festive spirit of a modern Bohemia with the embellished Peruvian macrame in Aztec patterns boasting hand-spun weaves with a magic touch.

Just as we celebrate this spirited girl revelling in this festival of love, the jewellery speaks of celebration in fluorescent hues introduced in seemingly boundless flushes of colour seen in combinations of citric orange, cobalt blues, Bougainvillea pink, and lime yellows, all enamelled in floral and heart motifs.

Like a wild spirit that knows no bounds, the multicoloured woven macrame rivers down to tassels fringed alongside florals studded with mirror-work reflecting the whimsical nature of this spirited young woman we celebrate today. The presence of the evil-eye in the designs commits to the notion of protecting this whimsical nature of hers’ which is ever so often lost amongst the happenings of everyday.

Revisiting traditions old and new in silhouettes  infused with contemporary art, the pieces vary from maang tikas, fringed studs and danglers, two finger rings, to floral hand-harnesses and necklaces suspended by delicate chains of pearls; all reflecting a combination of unique crafts induced with fine artisanal jewellery. The pieces see detailed finishings of sparkling star charms and delicate dual toned blue enamelled bell charms that add the characteristic Outhouse charm.

The jewellery with its playful, fresh hues and light-hearted character, the jewellery can be worn with traditional as well as contemporary wardrobes, infusing the spirit and wild colours that one sees with lively and buoyant dispositions to brighten ensembles.

We see the Outhouse girl with a relaxed bohemian zeitgeist wearing this rich and colourful palette with casual outfits or making a statement this festive season. Each piece is handcrafted with an attention to detail and design, treasuring these lost crafts that illustrate a heritage of celebration of love in the form of interwoven patterns and vibrant colours; all brought to reality in the hands of fine craftsmanship.
